Below are the details of the forthcoming exhibitions on show at Enniskillen Castle Museum on the 23 February 2007.

Gardens of Earthly Delight

A unique travelling exhibition of limited edition prints and a collaborative project between the Chester Beatty Library and the Graphic Studio Dublin’s print workshop.

Irish and international artists have been invited to explore The Chester Beatty Library’s collection focusing on garden and related imagery, which express man’s spiritual and physical need to create, cultivate and depict gardens. The common theme is the garden as terrestrial paradise, a refuge and a place of spiritual solace - a Garden of Eden. In all, thirty-nine artists, including William Crozier, Elizabeth Blackadder, Christopher le Bruin, Carmel Benson, Gwen O’Dowd, Hughie O’Donoghue and Brian Bourke have made a limited edition print.

A touring exhibition from the Graphic Studio Dublin.

North South East West

A photographic exhibition depicting a 360-degree view of global climate change.

Ten of the world's top photographers were commissioned to capture images from ten diverse countries around the world to illustrate the impact of climate change. These photographers were also asked to chronicle the range of solutions to reduce carbon emissions in communities from the north, south, east and west of the globe. This has produced some inspiring images, which detail the resourceful ways in which these communities have adapted.

A traveling exhibition from the British Council.

The Great Book Of Gaelic August and September 2007. An international celebration of contemporary Celtic culture. This exhibition brings together the work of poets, visual artists and calligraphers from Scotland and Ireland to explore the history of Gaelic culture and the close relationship between Scotland and Ireland.

This project has been originated by the Gaelic Arts Agency and developed in partnership with Iomairt Cholm Cille - Columba Initiative.
